It is used, as well, in fat-reduced foods to simulate the mouthfeel of fat and to create volume without adding calories. Gelatin thickens puddings, yoghurt, gummy candies, fruit gelatin desserts, ice cream, panna cotta, marshmallows, custard, pudding, jam, soups and more.
